As a peculiar social group of Russia,the formation of characteristics of the Cossacks has a profound historical and religious root.To some extent,their high degrees of cohesion,strong sense of honor and adventure,etc.were due to perennial conquests and battles,which exerted an important impact on the characteristics of the Cossacks such as love of adventure,martial aggression,freedom and equality,vanity and counting on excellence.
