薛宝钗是一个很有美德修养的少女,是那个时代有德有才的青年。曹雪芹和高鹗对薛宝钗都是赞美和同情的多,指责的少,是把她当作我国优秀传统文化的继承人,当作那个时代品质优秀的青年,当作世界东方女性美的典型形象来塑造的。封建社会不能让这样的女性得到幸福,薛宝钗成了悲剧人物。曹雪芹和高鹗的《红楼梦》就是把优秀传统文化的精英、把东方女性美毁灭给人们看,所以产生了经久不息的艺术震撼力。我们过去评价薛宝钗时,一味地说她是封建礼教的守护者,把一个人具有的传统美德修养,把几千年来我国世代传承下来的优秀传统美德都划归于封建礼教,这是极端错误的,要认真进行反思。

Xue Baochai was a young girl with great virtue and talent of that era.Both Cao Xueqin and Gao E had the feeling of praise and sympathy for Baochai,they described her as an heir of Chinese traditional culture,as the outstanding quality of youth of that era,as the world＇s typical image of the east women.However,in feudal society,women like Baochai could not be happy,Baochai became a tragic figure.Cao and Gao＇s ＂A Dream of Red Mansions＂ showed the excellent traditional culture,the destruction of the east women beauty,so that it produced a strong artistic charm.The paper insists that comments on Baochai in the past should be wrong so that it needs reflecting.
