以 A I B N 为引发剂,苯乙烯与丙烯酰胺在1,4二氧六环溶剂中共聚,得到 P( St Am ),通过 Mannich 反应,甲醛与二乙醇胺反应生成 N, N二羟乙基甲醇胺,然后与 P( St Am )缩合,最后以苄氯为季铵化试剂,与上述反应产物进行季铵化反应,得到阳离子聚(苯乙烯丙烯酰胺甲基二羟乙基苄基氯化铵)( P( St Am M D H E B A Cl))。 P( St Am )和 P( St Am M D H E B A Cl)的结构用 E A、 I R、1 H N M R得到了确证。
Amphiphilic water soluble quaternary cationic polyelectrolytes were of increasing interest for a wide variety of industrial applications. Several examples of the uses of amphiphilic cationic polymers were in such areas as papermaking, textile dying and finish, flocculation, cosmetic. In order to improve the dye ability and fixation strength of reactive dye in the process of cellulose fiber dying and finish, amphiphilic actionic polyelectrolyte as mordant is an effective approach to dissolve the problem. Hydrophobic styrene(St) and hydrophilic acrylamide(Am) were copolymerized to obtained poly(styrene acrylamide) as a polymeric precursor to chemically modify. Via Mannich reaction, formaldehyde reacted with diethanolamine to give N,N di(hydroxylethyl) methanolamine, then condensed with poly(St Am) to produce poly(styrene (N,N di(hydroxylethyl)aminomethyl)acrylamide), at last step, this product reacted with benzyl chloride as quaternary ammonization agent, cationic poly(benzyl chloride quaternized styrene (N,N di(hydroxylethyl)aminomethyl)acrylamide) was obtained. The chemical structures of poly(St Am) and its product of quaternary ammonization modification were confirmed by EA, IR and 1H NMR.
