Through the cause analysis of the fault caused by internal injures of a 500 kV SF6 current transformer,some problems existing in the equipments manufacturing and management are pointed out.The protection information,field inspection of this fault and internal structure of equipments are analyzed specifically to work out the fault causes.Some improvement suggestions are submitted to solve the problems in the equipments manufacturing,transportation,maintenance and inspections.
