新生活运动是蒋介石发起的以国民生活为革新领域的社会运动,运动中包涵了对国民性进行改造的思想和具体举措,这种改造最终虽然以失败而告终,但是其中也有着积极意义。

New Life Movement was a social movement initiated by Chiang Kai-Shek,which took national lives as the reform domain.Thoughts and practical measures of transforming the national character were involved in the movement.Though the transformation attempt finally ended in failure,it still had its positive significance.
