词汇是语言的基本构成要素，也是提高学生语言运用能力的前提。英语词汇教学是英语教学的重要组成部分，学生词汇量的大小直接影响学生的英语交际运用能力。本文作者根据自身的教学实践，分析了现行初中英语词汇教学中存在的问题，进而对初中词汇教学进行了策略性的实践与探索。

Vocabulary is the basic element of language, it also is the premise of improving students＇ language skills. English vocabulary teaching is an important part of English teaching, the capacity of students＇ vocabulary directly affect students＇ English communication skills. The author base on self teaching experience analyses the problems exist in current junior middle schools English vocabulary teaching, then strategic practice and explore the vocabulary teaching of junior high school.
