The Culture Imbalance in English Teaching from Postcolonial Perspective

后殖民主义理论作为一种新兴的理论批评话语解析了强势文化对弱势文化的文化霸权现象。由于在当今的英语教学中缺失中华民族优秀文化的导入,出现文化失衡现象,导致当代学生在我国中华民族优秀文化的继承方面出现了断层。

As a newly rising critical theory,postcolonialism analyzes the cultural hegemony phenomenon which shows that strong culture imposes on weaker one. Because of the loss of the introduction to Chinese culture in English teaching,there comes culture imbalance and cultural hegemony appears in the process of Chinese cultural inheritance as well.
