摘要
本论文根据Halliday系统功能语言学的主位概念和Danes的四种主位推进模式,对Robert Frost(1874-1963)的英文诗Stopping by Woods on a Snowing Evening进行赏析,并分析主位和主位推进模式在组织该诗歌结构框架和表达诗作者意图方面的贡献,及其对诗歌赏析及诗歌语义理解的促进作用。
This paper studies Theme and thematic progression patterns in the English poem Stopping by Woods on a Snowing Evening by Robert Frost,which is based on Halliday's notion of Theme and Danes'four types of thematic progression patterns,aiming to find out Theme and thematic progression patterns'contribution to organizing the text and eonveying the poem writer's intention.
