摘要
气体放射性核素^(123)Xe的γ射线发射几率是^(123)Xe活度测量过程中的一个重要核衰变参数,目前尚未有关实验直接测量数据的文献报导。本文测量^(123)Xe和^(123)I均匀同分布的固体源,根据母子体关系,由^(123)I的活度得到^(123)Xe的活度,通过标定^(123)Xe的效率,实验测定^(123)Xe 148.9 keVγ射线发射几率P_γ(148.9)为48.64%(1±2.7%)。
An important nuclear parameter of ^123Xe, a gaseous radioactive nuclide, is its emission probability of 148.9 keV γ-ray. While it has been estimated, experimental determination of the parameter has not been found from literatures. In this paper, ^123Xe and its daughter ^123I are measured and the activities of ^123Xe are obtained through parent-daughter relationship. By calibrating the measurement efficiency of ^123Xe, the measured emission probability is 48.64% (1±2.7%).
