摘要
1965、1966年间,山东省博物馆在青州市苏埠屯发掘了两座商代大型墓葬,在编号为M1的墓中,出土了两件铜钺。一件铜钺通长32.7厘米,刃宽34.5厘米,长方形,方内,双穿,两肩有棱,弧形刃,器身作透雕人面纹,极富威严。钺正反两面铭“亚丑”二字,故得名“亚丑钺”。另一件铜钺,通长31.8厘米,刃宽35.8厘米,扁方形,方形内,肩部有两穿,刃部宽大,器身透雕张口怒目的人面纹,眉目鼻均突起,口稍凹下。
In 1965 and 1966, Shandong Provincial Museum excavated two .large graves of the Shang Dynasty inSubutun, Qjngzhou City. At the grave with the serial number of M1, two examples of bronze yue were unearthed. One yue is 32.7 cm long with a cutting edge width of 34.5 cm. The entire yue looks like a kingly human face. On both the front and back sides of the yue, two Chinese characters Ya Chou were inscribed. Hence this one was called the "Ya Chou Yue".
