Social Work in the Mediation of Labor Disputes:Social Work Intervention of Humanism Approach

调解是中国特色的法律制度,调解一直被视为社会治理的有效方式和中国社会调整的基本标志。社会工作者在劳动争议仲裁的调解之中可以通过人本主义的综合介入,从而提升调解效果。社会工作介入调解工作将是一种按照现代法治精神运作的,以社会工作专业理念为指导,以建设民主、公正、和谐的公民社会为长远使命的新型的社会工作介入方式。

Mediation is the legal system with Chinese characteristics, which has been considered as an effective measure of social administration and a basic symbol of social adjustment in China modern society. Social workers in the mediation of the labor disputes could intervene in the dispute through a humanism approach, so as to enhance the effect of the mediation. Mediation of social work intervention would be an operation according to the modern legal spirit and be guided by the social work philosophy. It will be a long term mission of the new social work intervention to build a democratic, just and harmonious civil society.
