Weiyou 77 derived from Minghui 77 is one of the combinations with early-maturiting superiority and the largest extension area. It is the main combination of early-maturing hybridized rice grown in south China. In this paper, it's basic characteristics, cultural techniques, seed production techniques, demons- tration and popularization measures are dealt with.
