摘要
研究了利用废聚苯乙烯泡沫制备铸造用EPS乳液粘结剂的方法。粘结剂采用废EPS为主要原料,通过溶解、乳化、改性等方法,制备了一种液态的粘结材料,制成的型砂可通过吹入CO2气体进行硬化。通过试验对该EPS粘结剂混合溶剂、乳化剂、改性剂等工艺参数进行了优化,并设计了最佳的制备工艺路线。结果表明,以二甲苯、丙酮、乙酸乙酯为溶剂的最佳配比为:二甲苯∶丙酮∶乙酸乙酯=2∶2∶3(体积比)。采用复合乳化剂进行乳化处理,在乳化剂5%、温度为55℃下,乳化1.5 h取得较好效果。最终粘结剂在加入量3%的情况下,初强度达到0.50 MPa,终强度达到2.4 MPa。
The method to prepare an EPS emulsion binder for foundry was studied in this paper.Taking the waste EPS as the main raw material,the liquid binder was prepared by dissolving,emulsifying and modifying processes.The high strength of the sand with this binder can be achieved after cured by carbon dioxide gas.The parameters about the mixed solvent,emulsifier and modifier are optimized and the optimal mixing ratio(volume)is xylene∶acetone∶ethyl acetate=2∶2∶3.The better emulsifying result can be obtained as the addition of emulsifier is 5%,the temperature is 55 ℃,and the emulsifying time is 1.5 h.When addition amount of the binder is 3%,the initial strength of the sand after CO2 cured is greatly improved to 0.50 MPa,and the final strength is 2.4 MPa.
