戚继光浙东抗倭述略

On the Fight Led by Qi Jiguang against Japanese Pirates in the East of Zhejiang Province

戚继光是我国历史上杰出的军事家,伟大的民族英雄。明嘉靖年间倭寇大肆劫掠浙江等沿海地区。戚继光整顿台州卫所,修城造船,招义乌兵,创鸳鸯阵,著《纪效新书》,练精锐之师。嘉靖四十年在台州九战九捷,史称台州大捷,平定浙江倭患。

Qi Jiguang is an outstanding militarist and national hero in Chinese history.In the year Jiajing when Japanese pirates rapined the coastal areas including Zhejiang,Qi Jiguang traind compulsory servicemen,repaired equipment,and applied strategies to win nine wars against Japanese pirates and pacifies the region.
