瞿秋白在1930年代向国内译介了一批苏联文学作品。他的译介紧密结合国内左翼文学运动发展的进程,用意在拨正努力方向、树立效法榜样。他强调反市侩主义,强调对集体主义精神的表现,他对《毁灭》、《铁流》的热情赞美与积极推扬,对苏联文坛关于同路人文学深刻而富于启示的分析评判,以及对苏联普洛文坛开展的一系列文学运动及其内在精神实质的介绍,对中国左翼文学的战斗意气、目光胸怀与发展方向都产生了重要的影响。

In the 1930s,Qu Qiu-bai translated and introduced into China a batch of Soviet literature works.He made it accordingly with the development of Chinese left-wing literature movement,aiming to correct the orientations and set up models.The combat wills,insights and orientations of Chinese left-wing literature have benefited a lot from Qiu＇s emphasis on anti-Babbitt thoughts and collectivist spirit,his passionate praise and promotion of The Rout and The Iron Flood,his profound and enlightening analyses about Soviet literary circles＇ light on proletariat literature,and his introduction of Soviet proletariat literary movements and their internal spirits.
