摘要
语言习得的关键期在母语习得领域已经得到了充分的证实,但是在二语习得或者外语学习中是否也存在关键期是一个颇具争议的问题。本文对年龄在二语习得中作用的研究进行了介绍与评价,主要内容包括关键期假说的提出、二语习得起始年龄与二语水平的关系、二语学习者能否达到母语者的水平等。另外,本文也对相关问题今后的研究方向进行了简要的讨论。
The critical period of language acquisition has been proved and confirmed repeatedly in learning one' s native language, but whether it also exists in second language acquisition is still a rather controversial issue. In this paper, the author reviews the major researches about the role of age in second language acquisition, including the critical period hypothesis of language acquisition, the relationship between the onset age of second language acquisition and language proficiency and whether the second language learners can attain a native-like language proficiency. Moreover, the author also discusses the future research directions in this area.
