摘要
"隐含作者"这个概念在1961年由韦恩.布思提出后便引发了无数的争议。许多学者撰文试图更清楚的界定这一概念,有的学者却认为这一概念根本没有存在的必要。本文对其中有代表性的观点进行了辨析,认为"隐含作者"这一概念的提出是合理的,但是我们不能囿于某个学者的某种观点,而要以发展的眼光来看待这个概念,要从更广的范围来探究这个概念的适用性。
The term "implied author" arouses lots of arguments since it was put forward by Wayne Booth in 1961. Some scholars try to further define this term, while others think that it is useless for the existence of it. After analyzing the most represent- ative views, this article supports the rational existence of the term, but thinks that we shouldn ' t limit our understanding to a certain scholar' s view. Instead, we should understand it from a developmental eye and probe the application of it from a wider range.
