摘要
通过交通基础设施影响制造业企业库存成本的这一渠道,本文从理论上分析了交通基础设施促进经济增长的微观作用机制,并利用2004—2008年中国大中型制造业企业的省域面板数据对这一微观机制进行了计量检验。实证结果显示,公路基础设施尤其是高等级公路设施能够显著地降低制造业企业库存成本,但在考虑遗漏代理控制时其影响程度将有所降低;不同种类的交通基础设施对于降低东中西部地区的制造业企业库存成本所起到的作用是不一样的;此外,企业销售产值等内部影响因素以及地区人均GDP等宏观影响因素对于制造业企业的库存成本均具有程度不一的相关影响。
Via the channel which transport infrastructure affects the inventory costs of the manufacturing firms, this paper theoretically analyzes the micro-mechanism which transport infrastructure fosters economic growth, and then based on the provincial panel data of the medium-sized manufacturing firms in China to test econometrically this micro-mechanism. The findings show that: Firstly, the road infrastructure especially the high class road can significantly reduce the inventory costs of the manufacturing firms, but when thinking about the proxy-control, the influencing extent will decrease; Secondly, different kinds of transport infrastructure plays the different role in reducing the inventory costs of the three regions; Thirdly, all of the inner influencing factors such as the sailing value, and the macro influencing factors such as the regional per GDP, have some related influences which are different extent on the inventory costs of the manufacturing finns.
