Public Transit Priority is considered to be a practical solution to urban transport problem, but the enforcement of it still faces many difficulties. By taking a veiw of the development in urban transport, the author argues that the establishment of legal system, funding policy and research organization, the coordinative development of pubic transport and urban planning, motorcar industry and environmental conservation, rail traffic and supplementrary transport means shall be placed in the first importance.
