Hunan Lyric Verses in Different Periods

湖南历代之散曲创作,在元代以冯子振为第一人,属马致远、贯云石豪放一派重要成员,其成就较高,影响较大;其次则张鸣善、赵岩,二人亦有传世名篇;他们在元代曲坛为湖南散曲赢得一席之地。明代湖南曲家成就不高,未能进入学术视野,明显处于衰落之中。清代的湖南籍曲家有8位,其中杨恩寿、易顺鼎、李元度成就较高,有振兴之势。而以羊春秋为代表的湖南当代散曲创作,无论作家作品之众多、题材内容之丰富、曲体风味之浓郁、雅趣俗趣之合宜,皆已凌越前贤,无愧当代,取得了卓越的成就。

Feng Zizhen,an important member of the bold and unconstrained lyric style group represented by Ma Zhiyuan and Guan Yunshi,ranked the first place in the developments of Hunan lyric verses in the Yuan Dynasty.Zhang Mingshan and Zhao Yan also had masterpieces and gained a position for Hunan lyric verses in the Yuan Dynasty.In the Ming Dynasty Hunan lyricists,whose works had less achievements and was obviously in the state of decline,were not the focus of the academic research.In the Qing Dynasty there were eight Hunan lyricists,among whom Yang Enshou,Yi Shunding and Li Yuandu had better accomplishments and promoted the revitalization of Hunan lyric verses.Contemporary Hunan lyricists represented by Yang Chunqiu,exceed the previous Hunan lyricists and have great influence with the large number of their works,the richness of subjects and contents,the strong flavor of lyric styles,and appropriate tastes.
