摘要
钩乙号,或称"倒乙号"、"乙正号"、"乙字符"等,是古代乙正倒误文字的符号。本文列举大量实例,讨论了钩乙号的形状和基本用法,指出了古书校读中因不明钩乙号造成的种种疏误;文章探讨了钩乙号的起源及其演变,指出钩乙的"乙"乃《说文》小篆"(亅)"的讹变字,并进而廓清了若干流传已久的错误说法。
Gouyihao,which is also called 'daoyihao','yizhenghao','yizifu' etc.,is an ancient symbol for transposing.Many examples are given in the article to discuss figures,general usages of gouyihao and to point out mistakes made in ancient books proofreading due to the ignorance of gouyihao.The article illuminates the origin as well as the evolvement of gouyihao,figures out that 'yi' in gouyi is actually a variation of '(亅)',a small seal from 'Shuowen',and contradicts several wrong interpretations prevailed for long.
