关于鲁迅小说意义的阐发不能脱离对其所展现的社会空间的准确认知。借鉴社会史研究视野来认识小说《离婚》中的人物关系,爱姑与七大人其实处于乡土社会的绅-民关系格局中。围绕爱姑的婚姻纠纷调解事件,小说生动地展现了中国传统社会形态,尤其是绅权的基础、特征与运作的过程。对于鲁迅小说中"士绅"这一人物类型及其嬗变尚有待系统研究。

There were abundant contents about social history in Divorce,the short story by LuXun.To analyze the relations in the novel from the social history,Ai-gu and Qidaren were in the pattern of gentry-people in Chinese local society.In the mediation cases of Ai-gu's matrimonial disputes,the novel presented the form of traditional society,especially the base,features and functioning of the gentry's power.To know the form of traditional society accurately is important for researchers to explain the meaning of the novel.
