不同纸浆纤维交联PMVEMA/PEG的研究

摘要 两种不同纤维原料,漂白的白杨硫酸盐浆(BKP)及化学预热机械浆(BCTMP),通过酯化反应与聚(甲基乙烯基醚共聚马来酸)(PMVEMA)和聚乙二醇(PEG)进行交联来改善纤维的吸水和保水性能。通过红外光谱(FT-IR),接枝效率(GR),吸水保水值(WAARV)以及扫描电镜(SEM)来验证酯化反应并检验改性后的效果。FT-IR谱图表明,纤维上的自由羟基及PEG的羟基与PMVEMA的羧基发生酯化反应。而通过吸水保水值可以看出,两种接枝共聚后的纤维均是随着接枝共聚剂用量的增加,吸水保水值随之增加,当接枝共聚剂用量为66%时,WAARW达到最大值,BKP为108g水/g纤维,BCTMP为95g水/g纤维。而将纤维经过瓦利打浆机(Wiley mill)切断后长度降低,使之与同样比例的接枝共聚剂接枝共聚发现,WAARV有所增加。通过接枝共聚前后的纤维样品的SEM图可以看出接枝共聚后纤维变得平滑,纤维与纤维之间被接枝共聚剂填充,从而也证明了酯化反应的发生。通过以上结果可以表明,与BCTMP相比,BKP更适合作为高效吸水剂的原料。 Two different fibrous materials,bleached kraft pulp(BKP) and bleached chemithermomechanical pulp,were crosslinked with poly(methyl vinyl ether-co-maleic acid)(PMVEMA) and polyethylene glycol(PEG) to enhance the water absorption and retention ability.The reaction between crosslinker and fiber and the results of absorption and retention were checked by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),grafting ratio(GR),water absorption and retention value(WAARV),and scanning electron microscope(SEM).The FT-IR spectra showed that the hydroyxl groups of fiber and PEG had an esterification reaction with the carboxyl groups of PMVEMA.It has been proved that WAARV increased with the increasing content of PMVEMA/PEG,and the maximum is 108 g water per g fiber for BKP and 95 g water per g fiber for BCTMP.And as the fiber was cut by Wiley mill,the WAARV also increased.The SEM images showed that the surface of crosslinked fibers turned smooth with comparison to the raw materials and the spaces between crosslinked fibers were filled with polymer network.From the obtained results,it can be concluded that BKP is better for the highly aborbing materials than BCTMP.
