The Japanese cabinet had stuck to the principle of "separation between politics and economy" in dealing with China until the two countries announced to normalize their relations.Although the principle of "separation between politics and economy" was formed during the Shigeru Yoshida administration, the principle was not purposefully designed by Shigeru Yoshida or any other politician, but a natural outcome of the cold war regime in the post-war era, especially the Japan-U.S.-Taiwan alliance, which influenced Japan's China policies.Holding the process and root of the formation of the principle can offer an interpret angle of view for comprehending the historical badge of the China-Japan relations in the post-war which was betterment or more deteriorate.
