改进的十字菱形搜索算法INCDS

Improved new cross-diamond search algorithm INCDS

目的减少运动估计搜索点数,提高搜索速度。方法通过对图像运动矢量分布特征和十字菱形算法的研究,在改进的方向上主要考虑了初始搜索起点的确定、中途退出准则、搜索过程中搜索方向的确定和对图像内容运动状态的划分。结果提出了改进的十字菱形算法INCDS。结论改进的算法提高了搜索提前退出的概率,减少了运动估计的时间消耗。

Aim To reduce the searching points of motion estimation and improve the search speed.Methods The image motion vector distribution and cross diamond algorithm are studied,the improvement concerns the initial point prediction,earlier termination algorithm,search direction of the search process and the state of moving blocks.Results An improved INCDS algorithm is proposed.Conclusion The results show that the improved algorithm can increase the probability of early termination and reduce the time of motion estimation.
