Development and Application of Homogeneous Skimming Ball for Converter

研制开发出一种转炉出钢用均质挡渣球。均质挡渣球内部各部分质量均等,体积密度4.02g/cm3,材质选用转炉喷溅渣经过磁选之后的粒钢和高铝细粉等密度较高的原材料,通过铝酸钙水泥结合制作而成。该均质挡渣球在钢水中定位准确,具有良好的挡渣效果,不仅可以降低冶炼成本,还能为钢渣循环利用开辟新的途径。该均质挡渣球已应用于实际生产中,效果良好。

The homogeneous skimming ball for converter was developped.The density of homogeneous skimming ball was homogenous,with volumetric density of 4.02g/cm3.Homogeneous skimming ball choosed the the materials with higher density such as granular steel selected from slag splashing in BOF by magnetic separation and high-aluminium fine powder as its raw materials,and was made by combining with calcium aluminate cement.The homogeneous skimming ball had high position accuracy in the molten steel and good skimming effects,not only reducing melting costs,but also openning up a new way of recycling uses of slag.
