近年来,随着考古的不断发现,特别是吐谷浑时期大量手工业物品的出土,使我们看到吐谷浑手工业已达到了一定的水平。其中较为重要的手工业部门有皮毛加工业、冶炼业、金属制造业、建筑业、酿造及制盐业等。

Tuyuhun is a nomad nation settled on the Tibetan plateau,from the document recorded we are aware of the development of its animal husbandry and business.In recent years,with the constant discovery of archaeology,a large number of handicraft items have been excavated,we have got to know that the level of Tuyuhun＇s handicraft was higher.Tuyuhun＇s handicraft industry flourished on the basis of the Long-term exchanges with the Central Plains.It has the culture characteristics of Han as well as the national characteristics,the important handicraft sectors are fur processing industry,metallurgy industry,metal manufacturing,construction,brewing and its salt industry.
