王宽诚先生对民族工业的发展功不可没。一方面,王宽诚先生自身是民族工业的探索者和成功的实践者;另一方面,王宽诚先生利用自身的特殊身份和影响,在民族资产阶级与新中国政府之间起到了一种极为重要的媒介和传导作用。在他的带动下,有更多的海外爱国的工商业人士积极支持、帮助新中国的民族工业发展。王宽诚先生对民族工业的执着追求是源于其拳拳爱国之心,更是源于浙东———宁波特殊的社会、文化环境的教育与熏陶。

Mr.K C Wong made indelible contributions to the national industry.On the one hand,he devoted himself to national industry and succeeded,on the other,he mediated and guided between national bourgeoisies and the New China government using his identity and fame.As led by him,more oversea patriotic industrialists and businessmen supported and helped the Chinese national industry to grow and develop.His unswerving pursuit of national industry stems from his profound patriotism and from the education and the nourishment of social and cultural environment typical of East Zhejiang and Ningbo.
