Pragmatic Marker and Discourse Coherence in Oral Communication

语用标记语是口语交际中经常使用的一种能够体现语篇连贯功能的形式标记,具有典型性和代表性。发话人可以运用语用标记语组织语篇,唤起发话人的注意,表明发话人的态度,维持话语连贯。本文从功能的角度看对语用标记语具有的语篇构建功能、元话语功能、强调或突出所述命题内容、表述对所述内容的态度使所述内容具有实据性以及补充所述话语的语用功能展开了分析。

Pragmatic marker,frequently used in verbal communication,can play a very importantrole in discourse coherence.Being highly typical and representative,speakers can use pragmaticmarkers not only to organize discourse,to attract hearers＇ attention,but also to express speakers＇attitude and maintain discourse coherence.The paper attempts to analyze the roles that pragmatic markers play in the discourse from the functional point of view,i.e.,constructing discourse and metadiscourse,emphasizing the proposition,expressing the speaker＇s attitude,making the utterance evidential and repairing the utterance.
