延庆县位于北京市西北部,地处东经115°44′~116°34′,北纬40°16~40°47′,东与怀来相邻,南与昌平相连,西面和北面与河北省怀来、赤城接壤,三面环山,是延怀盆地的一部分。延庆县作为首都北京的北大门,地处北京的上风上水,是首都绿色屏障的重要组成部分。同时,由于官厅水库是首都市民重要的饮用水源之一,因此延庆县也是重要的水源涵养地。

Yanqing County is located in the northwest of Beijing,located in east longitude 115 ° 44＇～116 ° 34 ＇,latitude 40 ° 16～40 ° 47 ＇,East and arms to the adjacent,connected Changping south,west and north and Huailai,Hebei Province,Akagi border,surrounded by mountains,is part of Yanhuai Basin.Yanqing County in Beijing as the capital of the north gate,is located upwind of Beijing Sheung Shui,is the capital of an important part of the green barrier.Also,because the people is the capital Guanting important source of drinking water,so water conservation is also important to Yanqing County land.
