临床护士对专业英语需求度现状的调查

Investigation of demands for professional English of clinical nurses

目的了解临床护士专业英语需求度现状，寻找相关因素并探讨其对策。方法采用自制的基本资料表和问卷调查98例临床护士，分析临床护士的一般资料与对专业英语需求度之间的相关性，并采用百分比研究英语基础水平等因素与需求度的相关性以及临床护士对专业英语需求度的方向。结果在98例临床护士中有83．7％的护士认为有必要进行专业英语的培训。临床护士对专业英语的需求度与学历、年龄、英语水平、婚姻状况、子女情况、继续深造、学习兴趣、职业晋升和岗位竞争等因素相关。结论临床护士普遍对护理专业英语有较高的需求度，但需求度受较多因素影响，希望护理管理者根据本文所提供的理论依据采取正确有效的措施，提高临床护士的专业英语水平。

Objective To explore the current status of demands for professional English of clinical nurses, identify related factors and discuss corresponding measures. Methods A total of 98 clinical nurses were investigated by self-made questionnaires focusing on their basic information and demands for professional English. Data was analyzed by the SPSS 13.0 statistical software. Relevance between basic information and demands for professional English was analyzed. The relevance between factors such as basic English skills and demands were illustrated by percentage. Results 83. 7% of the nurses thought it necessary to improve professional English. Demands for professional English was correlated with factors such as education background, age, English skill, marriage, the number of children, further education, interest in English, promotion, position competence and so forth. Conclusions Clinical nurses have high demand for professional English, which are influenced by a variety of factors. Nursing administers should take efficient measures to improve professional English of nurses.
