The NEMA Premium three-phase asynchronous motor's research and development background, fundamental parameters,structure,and key technique was introduced.For example,stator and rotor cores were laminated with high-class electrical silicon steel sheets with high permeability and annealing process to reduce iron loss.Low harmonic winding was used to reduce stator copper loss. Rotor surface was lathed with special technology and acid washing to reduce stray loss,etc.Development prospects of NEMA Premium three-phase asynchronous motor was desciped.
