Discussion on Librarians' Education and Self-education under the New Information Environment

在介绍馆员进行教育与自我教育背景的基础上,探讨了开展馆员教育和自我教育的策略及应包括的内容,即馆员的教育应由阶段学习转向终身教育、教育与自我教育并重、实用技术培训和超前理论教育互补、一般教育与个性化教育相结合等。

Based on introducing the background of librarians＇education and self-education,this paper probes into the strategies for developing librarians＇education and self-education and the contents that should be involved in librarians＇ education and self-education,including that librarians＇education should be transformed from the phase learning into the life-long education,the equal attention should be paid to the education and self-education,the applied technology training and advanced theory education should supplement each other,and the general education and individualized education should be combined,etc.
