There is the abundant waterpower resource in Aihe River with 25000-kw waterpower reserves.The development utilization level is low now and it is urgently to be developed further.The correct determination of the engineering level of the proposed hydropower station will produce the definitive effect on the engineering investment,reservoir area flooding and economical benefit.The article firstly sets forth the present situation of the waterpower development and its planning design of Aihe River,then analyzes the problems existing in the waterpower development,and finally puts forward some basis to determine the engineering level of hydropower station.
