During the new period,it is emphasized that using the scientific conception of development to examine the ideological and political work in universities and colleges.This paper thinks about the importance and effectiveness of intensifying the ideological and political education among university teachers and students.Following the guanidine of the upper concepts of ＂keeping pace with the times＂,the school authorities should enhance the team construction and the education of ideal and faith,bring out the humanistic concern conspicuously,pay close attention to the real needs of teachers and students and their mental health,ensure that the school advances with the times,and promote the steady development of higher education.
