从当前中国公路建设的发展动态和需求出发，首先分别介绍并分析了国内外沥青混凝土搅拌设备和沥青混凝土摊铺机，水泥混凝土搅拌设备和水泥混凝土摊铺机，稳定土厂拌设备和稳定土拌和机的技术状况和研究方向，随后就国内外公路养护机械的应用状况，具体提出了我国今后在路面施工机械和养护机械方面所发展的趋势。
