人鼻咽癌中CD_(44V6)蛋白产物的表达及临床意义

EXPRESSION OF CD_(44V6) PROTEIN IN NASOPHARYNGEAL CARCINAMA AND ITS CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE

目的：探讨转移相关基因CD44V6蛋白产物在人鼻咽癌中的表达特点及其与颈淋巴结转移和其它生物学行为的关系。方法：采用免疫组化S－P法对73例低分化鼻咽癌和12例慢性鼻咽炎上皮进行蛋白产物的检测。结果：CD44V6蛋白的阳性表达率在慢性鼻咽炎组中为5／12（41．7%），在鼻咽癌组中58/73（79．5%），两组比率有明显差异性，颈淋巴结转移组CD44V6蛋白阳性率明显高于无淋巴结转移组。结论：5例（41．7％）慢性鼻咽炎上皮蛋白表达均在基底层。CD44V6蛋白表达升高可能在鼻咽癌的发生过程中起一定作用。并与颈淋巴结转移有关，但与周围组织浸润无关。

To examine the expression of CD44V6 protein, a ce1ladhesion molecule, in chronic nasopharyngitis (CN) and Poorly differentiated nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), and study the relationship between CD4V6protein and metastasis. Methods: Routine S - P immunohistochemistry with of CD44V6 monoclonal murine antithey was employed to study the expression of CD44V6 protein in 73 paraffin - ernbeded specimens of NPC and CN. A scoring system based on the intensity of immunostaining was used to quantify CD44V6protein expression. Results: 5/12 (41. 7% ) specimens of chronic nasopharyngitis epithelia showed Positive expression of CD44V6 protein. It was strong in basal 1ayer cells, and weak or absent in upper layer cells. The expression of CD4V6 protein was upregulation in biopsies of NPC as compared with chronic nasopharyngitis epithelia. The difference of CD4V6 protein expression between NPC with and without lymph node metastasis was statistically significant (P < O. O5 ).Conclusion: CD44V6 protein expression is significantly associated with lymph node metastasis. It is irrelavent to tumor infiltration in NPC patients. CD4V6 protein may play a role in tumorigenasis of NPC.
