Lugu Lake lies in a mountainous area between Yongning Village in the north of Ninglang County in Yunnan and Yanyuan County in Sichuan.
Lugu Lake lies in a mountainous area between Yongning Village in the north of Ninglang County in Yunnan and Yanyuan County in Sichuan. It is 73 kilometers from Ninglang and 280 kilometers from Lijiang, and is aboundary lake shared by Sichuan and Yunnan. Two-thirds of the lake belongs to Sichuan, the remainder to Yunnan.
