我国具有丰富的非木材纤维资源。竹子、麦（稻）草、芦苇、蔗渣、棉秆、红麻、龙须草、芨芨草、高粱秆等是我国用于造纸的非木材纤维原料。我国早在1000多年前就利用稻草、麦草及竹子等作为手工纸的原料；

China is abundant in non-wood fiber resource.The non-wood fibers of bamboo,straw,reed,bagasse,cotton stalk,ambary,eulaliopsis binata etc.are used for papermaking in China.China has already taking straw,bamboo as the raw materials for hand-made paper since a thousand years before.Non-wood fiber was used as the raw materials of machine-made paper in 1940s.China has been the biggest in scale and the most in production experiences for non-wood fiber papermaking.In this paper,the development overview and technical progress for pulping from bamboo and straw were introduced.
