The Evolution of the "Cultural Soft Power" Theory and Its New Breakthrough

"文化软实力"是在"文化力"概念和"软实力"或"软权力"概念的基础之上发展起来的概念。"文化力"与"软实力"(软权力)概念和理论是讨论"文化软实力"概念和理论的基础;"文化软实力"概念和理论就是对此前"文化力"概念和理论的新发展,它们应该属于同一个理论体系。党的"十七大"报告提到了"文化软实力"概念,但更强调文化概念。无论是文化力还是文化软实力,都是文化的综合体现,也应该以文化发展为目的。

The concept of ＂cultural soft power＂ is coined by Chinese scholars based on the two concepts：soft power and cultural power.The latter two concepts also form the basis of the theory of ＂cultural soft power＂.＂Cultural soft power＂ theory is a new development of the theory of cultural power,and they jointly develop into one theoretical system.In the report of the 17th Party＇s Congress,＂cultural soft power＂ is mentioned once,but the concept of culture is more stressed.No matter cultural power or ＂cultural soft power＂,are all the demonstrations of culture,and they aim at the development of culture.
