摘要
从"五四精神"及中国现代性进程的维度对中国早期都市流行歌曲进行透视和诠释,就会发现这些歌曲中蕴涵着新的美学精神,它们不仅表征着一种商业文化和娱乐文化,而且还代表着一种"五四精神"的文化形式。其具体表现在三个方面:一是在启蒙主义的感召下,对自由平等、个性解放的大胆追求;二是在爱国情操的激励下,对救亡图存、民族解放的不懈呼喊;三是在平民意识的引领下,对流行歌曲的大众化和艺术性的积极探索。早期都市流行歌曲的产生有着深刻的社会基础。它们对"五四精神"的继承和弘扬,反映了在创始之初就拥有一份自觉的美学追求,这种追求中所包含的一些有助于公民社会的文化建设的思想已经成为优秀的现代传统。正确分析评价和继承弘扬早期都市流行歌曲中蕴涵的"五四精神",对于当代的流行歌曲创作具有一定的借鉴意义。
The article is to reveal the new aesthetic spirit and its social basis by interpreting modern Chinese urban pop songs from the point of view of the spirit of May 4th and process of Chinese modernity. It point out that these songs are not only business culture and entertainment culture, but also cultural form containing May 4th spirit in three aspects: the pursuit of freedom, equality and the emancipation of personality inspired by Enlightenment; the appeal for saving the country and liberating the nation encouraged by patriotism; the quest for popularization and artistic quality of pop songs under the guidance of civilian's consciousness. It is beneficial for composing contemporary pop songs to analyze, evaluate and carry forward the spirit of May 4th movement contained in modern Chinese urban pop songs.
