北京市养老院老年女性尿失禁患者诊疗情况的定性研究

Qualitative Research on Medical Care for Elderly Women with Urinary Incontinence at Nursing Homes in Beijing

目的了解北京市养老院老年女性尿失禁患者的就诊和治疗现状,为老年女性患者开展尿失禁的防治提供参考。方法对北京市四个区7家养老院中44名患有尿失禁的老年妇女进行个人深入访谈,对访谈资料进行归纳整理。结果养老院老年女性尿失禁患者就诊者较少,不就诊的主要原因包括认为尿失禁不是病、治不好以及经济困难。已就诊的患者主要采用了药物治疗,但治疗效果不满意。老年女性尿失禁患者对该病缺乏认识,对卫生服务的需求较低。结论应加强对群众尿失禁相关知识的宣传,并对强对医务人员的相关培训;建议养老院给尿失禁患者提供相应的卫生服务。

Objective To investigate the status of seeking medical consultation and treatment among elderly women with urinary incontinence at nursing homes in Beijing so as to provide evidences for prevention and control of urinary incontinence for elderly women.Methods An in-depth interview was conducted among forty-four elderly women with urinary incontinence at seven nursing homes in four districts of Beijing,and the data obtained were summarized.Results Only a few of the women with urinary incontinence sought medical care.The main reasons for this included considering urinary incontinence as a minor problem,and no cure for it,or economic problems.For the patients who sought medical care were mainly given medication,and the effect was not satisfied.The demand of elderly women for community health care about urinary incontinence was low,for their knowledge about urinary incontinence was very limited.Conclusion Health education about urinary incontinence for the public should be carried out,and more training for health professionals should be conducted.Health service related to urinary incontinence should be provided for the elderly women at nursing homes.
