By analyzing the creative motivation and the text of Frog by Mo Yan, the paper firstly studies the writing characteristics of his previous works and the collection of his sayings before the new novel so as to read the novel in a more rational point of view. Secondly, it goes over the story and text in order to trace back to the original creation point and explore the deeper meaning of Frog.
