The Intertexture of Tradition and Modernity --A research into the soul of Ai Qing＇s poetry

艾青是中国新诗史上的领唱人。当中国式的现代派诗人在中西交融的理想旗帜下折回到诗歌创作的“纯诗”之路时，同样接受西方文化的艾青则开创了一条将时代情绪、民族传统、西方现代诗艺与个人气质相融合的艺术之路，正是这种融合奠定了他诗歌的内在灵魂。本文从艾青继承的现实主义诗歌传统和他自觉运用西方现代诗艺为表现手法出发，探讨艾青诗歌内在的精神之魂。

Ai Qing is a pioneer in the history of the Chinese modern poetry. When Chinese modern poets, under the influence of blending the western and Chinese styles, returned to ＂create poems for the sake of poetry＂, Ai Qing who took in the western culture advanced a new vein of artistic creation which brought the epoch mood, national traditions, western modern poetry and individual characteristics into a harmonious whole. It is such harmonization that lays the foundation for the soul of Ai Qing＇s poetry. The paper, by means of analyzing Ai Qing＇s inheritance of realistic traditions and his active utilization of modern western poetic techniques, explores the soul of poetry therein.
