On the Importance of Creating Archives for Folk Artists

非物质文化遗产保护现已成为各国政府和组织极为重视的一项工作,它对传承人类文明,保护文化多样性有着重要的作用。我国的非物质文化遗产资源极为丰富,云南省的非物质文化遗产又以其独特的人文历史和地理环境而独具特色。民间艺人掌握的相关技艺不仅是非物质文化遗产重要的组成部分,而且他们担负着传承并弘扬优秀非物质文化遗产的重任。近年来,剧烈的社会、文化变迁对民间艺人的存续产生了强烈冲击,很多非物质文化遗产的传承面临着后继乏人的问题。因此,立足于云南省保护和传承非物质文化遗产的实际情况,做好民间艺人档案的征集记录,对做好非物质文化遗产保护和传承工作有着重要意义。

Nearly all the governments and the related organizations all over the world attach much importance to the protection of intangible cultural heritages which play a crucial role in the inheritance of human civilization and in the protection of cultural pluralism.China is rich in the resources of intangible cultural heritages while Yunnan Province has its own features due to its special cultural,historical and geographical environment.The skills of the folk artists are an important part of intangible cultural heritages while the artists bear the responsibility for the inheritance and popularity of the fine intangible cultural heritages.In recent years,the dramatic changes in society and in culture have exerted great impacts on such artists and their is a lack of their successors.Thus,we should take the actual situations of the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritages in Yunnan into consideration and make a truthful record of the archives of the folk artists in Yunnan,which should have great significance to the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritages.
