Zhou Ruchang and Hushi's Research Model about A Dream of Red Chamber

红学中的所谓胡适红学模式,从本质上讲乃是一种"腰斩《红楼梦》"的红学模式;而"曹著高续说"则是这一红学模式的根本特征。周汝昌先生将胡适发明的"曹著高续说"推向极顶,并发展为"曹学"、"脂学"、"版本学"和"探佚学"四大支,其目的就是打倒程本,摧毁后四十回,为"腰斩《红楼梦》"的总主题服务。

The so-called Hushi＇s research model about a dream of Red Chamber is actually a kind of model which means splitting A Dream of Red Chamber into two parts, that is, started by Cao and continued by Gao is the basic characteristic of this model. Zhou Ruchang advocates Hushi＇s model. He develops and divides it into four categories： Cao-ology, Zhi-ology, version-ology, original-ology, which aims to overthrow ＇Chen＇s version＇, eliminate the post-40 sequels, and sever for the total topic ＇ dividing the A Dream of Red Chamber into two parts.
