摘要
委讬公證人是應運内地改革開放和促進舆香港交往迫切需求而誕生的一項有創造性的制度。自1981年司法部首批委讬八位香港律师爲委讬公證人以來，這一制度不僅兄證了内地社會主義市埸經濟的高速發展和内地舆香港民商事關係日益密切，而且已成爲「一國兩制」下連接内地和香港兩個不同法域和推動兩地融合的重要紐带。
The system of China-Appointed Attesting Officers is an innovative institutional design in response to the pressing needs of the reform and opening-up of the Mainland and its closer tie with Hong Kong. Since the year of 1981 when the first eight Hong Kong-based lawyers were commissioned by the Ministry of Justice to be the so-called appointed attesting officers, the system has witnessed rapid development of the socialist market economic in the Mainland and closer civil and commercial ties between the Mainland and Hong Kong, becoming an important bridge connecting two distinctive legal jurisdictions and making the two sides further inteqrate.
