A New Probe into College English Teaching Model in Enlarged Classes Based on Constructivism

摘要 近年来我国合班英语教学已成为普遍现象,而与之相对应的教学措施却显滞后。本文以建构主义理论为基础提出了合班英语教学课内互动、课外自主学习相结合的教学新模式,并阐述了实施这一模式的有效途径,旨在弥补合班英语教学的不足,提高学生的英语水平。 Measures on teaching in enlarged classes lag behind the popularity of it in college English in China.With constructivism as its theoretical basis,this paper proposes a new teaching model of college English which emphasizes on the interaction of classroom and autonomous learning after classes.Then it expounds the effective strategies to put the new model into use with the purpose of resolving the disadvantages of college English in enlarged classes and promoting students' English competence.
