高校图书馆外文期刊合理化配置研究

Research on rational allocation of foreign journals in university library

高校图书馆经费紧张和外文期刊价格不断上涨,使寻求外文期刊电子版和印刷版的最佳配置比例成为图书馆外文期刊资源配置的新课题。文章通过对中国农业大学图书馆外文纸本期刊和电子期刊利用率的研究,分析外文期刊的利用情况;通过问卷调查,了解读者对外文期刊的需求、阅读习惯、对不同载体的利用情况等,旨在为图书馆外文期刊不同载体的合理配置提供一个较全面、可靠的依据,并根据调查结果提出外文期刊资源的合理配置和改进服务的相关建议。

With the lack of funds of university libraries in purchasing books and the rising price of foreign periodicals,it is becoming a new research subject on the rational allocation ratio between electronic and paper-based foreign periodicals.The paper makes an analysis of the utilization of foreign periodicals through the research on the utilization ratio of paper-based and electronic journals in the China Agricultural University Library.By questionnaires,the authors also make an investigation about the needs of foreign periodicals,reading habits of the readers,and the utilization for different carriers of foreign journals,and so on.In order to obtain a relatively comprehensive,authoritative basis of the rational allocation of various carriers of foreign journals and to improve the service work of the library,the authors present some suggestions to the rational allocation of the foreign journals.
