摘要
介绍了稀土掺杂光纤放大器的发展,总结了用于13μm光纤放大器的几种重要的硫(卤)系基质玻璃,阐述了掺Pr(3+)硫(卤)系玻璃1.3μm光纤放大器的光学性质并分析了-OH等杂质对其性能的影响。文章指出了硫(卤)系玻璃将是掺Pr(3+)1.3μm光纤放大器最有希望的可选择基质材料。
This paper describes the development of rare earth ion doped 1. 3μm optical fiber arnplifiers, including several important chalco-genide and chalcohalide glasses systems for 1.3μm optical fiber amplifiers reviews the optical characteristic of Pr3+ doped chalcogenide and chalcohalide glasses for 1. 3μm optical fiber amplifiers and analyzes the influence of impurities, such as - OH, indicates that rare earth ion doped chalcogenide and chalcohalide glasses are the most promise candidate for 1. 3μm optical fiber ampliflers.
